We are working with a leading scientific manufacturing company based in South Cambridge who are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Support with the continual product design and development lifecycle.

* Use 3D Solidworks for product design.

* Create prototypes for review and analysis.

* Comply with industry standards and regulations.

* Test and evaluate designs.

* Design and review jigs and fixtures.

* Collaborate with wider teams to assist with system integrations.

The Successful candidate will have:

* Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.

* 3 + years engineering experience.

* Experience with 3D Cad, Solidworks, GD&T and PDM.

* Excellent communicational and organisational skills.

* Experience taking idea through to execution.

* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
