Overview

We are recruiting a Joinery Prepper to support the lead sprayer and workshop finishing team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow a career in joinery finishing with clear opportunities to develop skills and progress within the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the lead sprayer and finishing team in preparing joinery components for finishing (sanding, masking, cleaning surfaces etc).

*

Prepare joinery items for spray coating and other surface finishes, ensuring they’re ready for high quality application.

*

Support quality checks prior to finishing to maintain standards expected in bespoke joinery.

Keep the finishing area clean and organised

Experience & Skills

*

No formal finishing experience required; hands-on attitude and willingness to learn essential.

*

Experience in woodworking, joinery or workshop environments is beneficial but not essential.

*

Good attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high quality results.

*

Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.

*

Willingness to train and develop into more advanced finishing responsibilities over time.
