Fulfilment Team Leader

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

Are you an experienced warehouse professional ready to lead a team in a dynamic, high-volume environment? A well-established and rapidly growing distribution business is seeking a proactive Fulfilment Team Leader to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment for retail and e-commerce channels.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated team of warehouse operatives
Ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and professionally
Planning resources and tasks to meet daily and seasonal demands
Maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy through regular stock control
Upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards across the operation
Monitoring team KPIs, performance, and attendance
Managing inbound and outbound goods and coordinating deliveries
Driving improvements and encouraging best practice (ideally with 5S/Lean awareness)What You'll Bring:

Solid experience in a warehouse or fulfilment environment, ideally FMCG
Strong people leadership skills - you're hands-on and lead by example
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure
Confidence using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel
A flexible, adaptable approach to changing priorities and team support
Knowledge of health & safety best practices in a distribution setting
