About the Role
As a Chemistry Teacher, your duties will include:
• Delivering Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.
• Designing stimulating lessons that develop students’ analytical thinking and practical skills.
• Monitoring student progress and providing tailored feedback and support.
• Contributing to enrichment opportunities such as science clubs and STEM fairs.
• Working with colleagues in the Science team to develop innovative and effective schemes of work.
• Participating in school CPD and staff development initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Chemistry or a closely related science subject.
• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science.
• Enthusiastic and confident classroom presence.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Salary
This position is paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
