Our client make specialist parts for the oil and gas industry. They are the only company in the UK that make these parts. Due to an ever increasing work book they are looking for a Capstan Setter/Manual Turner. This a permanent role.

The work will be basic turning and not tight tolerances.

We’re seeking someone with hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

? Centre Lathes – Colchester, TRENS, Harrison

? Capstan Lathes – Herbert

? Vertical / Horizontal Borers – Webster Bennett / Union BFT

What we’re looking for:

✔ Proven machining experience (as above)

✔ Ability to read engineering drawings

✔ Able to measure and inspect your own work

✔ General engineering experience is welcome but not essential.

Hours of work are:

Mon - Thurs - 6am - 3pm or 7am - 4pm

Friday - 6am - 11am

Overtime is always available
