Are you an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant looking for a long-term role in a supportive primary school near Forestdale? Do you have the empathy, resilience, and commitment to help pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and access learning?

We’re recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a nurturing school community, working closely with pupils who need tailored support to thrive. This is a full-time, temporary but ongoing opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and beyond.

? Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs

* Implement behaviour strategies and personalised support plans

* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

* Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion across the school day

? Candidate Requirements:

* Experience supporting children with behavioural needs in a school setting

* Strong understanding of emotional regulation and trauma-informed practice

* Calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour support

* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
