Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Northampton, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their teams from February 2026 or Easter 2026. What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential A-Level teaching in some settings)
Planning and delivering creative lessons that build numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Differentiating learning to support and stretch students of all abilities
Collaborating within a supportive and forward-thinking Mathematics department
Contributing to intervention programmes, revision sessions, or extra-curricular activities such as Maths clubs and STEM initiatives
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics
Confident teaching the national curriculum and preparing students for GCSE examinations (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)
Passionate about making Mathematics accessible, engaging, and relevant
Committed to raising achievement and supporting student progress
A positive team player who contributes to wider school life
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are strongly encouraged to apply - excellent mentoring and induction support are available.
