Our client is looking for a motivated and technically-minded Trainee LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in occupational hygiene, engineering, or environmental safety. Full training and mentoring will be provided to help you become a qualified LEV engineer.

Experience working in a mechanical engineering environment, ideally as an apprentice, fitter, or technician.
Interest in engineering, occupational hygiene, or health and safety.
Full UK driving licence (essential, due to site visits).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office, report writing tools). Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience in a technical, engineering, or HVAC role.
Knowledge of LEV systems or ventilation equipment.
Understanding of HSE guidance, such as HSG258. Trainee LEV Engineer  - Responsibilities

Assist in the testing, inspection, and maintenance of LEV systems in various workplace environments.
Support senior engineers in conducting LEV surveys in accordance with HSE guidance.
Record and report findings accurately using standard documentation and software.
Attend training courses to work towards P601 certification (or equivalent).
Maintain health and safety standards while working on-site.
Liaise with clients in a professional and courteous manner.  About Us
