Structural MIG Welder

Our client, a well-established and expanding engineering company, is looking for an experienced Structural MIG Welder to join their hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in delivering high-quality structural fabrications and enjoys working within a company that values precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out high-quality MIG welding on structural steel components

Read, interpret, and work from structural drawings, schematics, and fabrication plans

Fabricate and assemble structural steelwork to exact specifications

Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and effectively

Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet safety and industry standards

Work closely with the fabrication team to meet project timelines and production targets

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in structural MIG welding

Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication

Ability to interpret technical and structural drawings

High attention to detail with a commitment to safe and accurate work

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Relevant welding or fabrication certifications are advantageous
