Location: Selsey, West Sussex

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site-wide quality and technical functions, ensuring food safety, compliance, and product excellence across a fast-paced environment.

Shift pattern: Panama shift, days only (7am–7pm). You’ll manage one shift rotation, alternating weekends off, and collaborate closely with another Quality Manager to maintain consistency and a strong quality culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

* Ensure all food safety, technical, and customer standards are met and maintained

* Lead a team of QA Team Leaders, managing all QA/QC functions across your shift

* Drive GMP and food safety compliance through proactive engagement on the factory floor

* Manage customer complaints, audits, and non-conformance investigations efficiently

* Support new product launches and collaborate with Production & Process Development teams

* Oversee HACCP compliance and internal auditing schedules

* Coach, mentor, and develop team members and colleagues

* Maintain accurate nutritional and shelf-life data in line with product changes

* Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement

About you

* Strong background in food manufacturing quality management

* Knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards, and customer Codes of Practice

* Proven experience leading and developing teams

* Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across all levels

* Passionate about food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
