Production Team Leader

6am - 4pm (Monday to Thursday)

Our client, a large manufacturing business in the Leeds area, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Production Team Leader to join their team.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations with the mattress assembly department, ensuring quality, safety and productivity targets are met as well as supervising production operatives.

Main duties Include:

* Maintain accurate records of production output

* Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum

* Keeping stock to an adequate level

* Monitor and adjust processes and workflow as needed

* Liaise with other departments and management team to overcome any issues

* Carry out performance improvement techniques where necessary

* Monitor and report absences, time keeping and performance issues with HR

* Adhere to all strict Health & Safety and PPE policys

* Gather, review, and analyse production, quality and waste data, and prepare weekly reports for the management team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar style Team Leader role.

This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursday.

In return you will receive a salary of £33969.
