Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking a hands-on, technically minded Warehouse Operative to join an established stairlift warehousing team in Bradford. This is not a typical picker/packer role within a commercial distribution centre — it’s ideally suited to an ex-Stairlift Engineer or someone from an electrical, mechanical or construction-based warehouse background who understands engineering components and technical parts rather than parcel distribution.

The Warehouse Operative Role

You’ll be joining a specialist lift engineering warehouse

Manage engineering stock, parts & logistics

*

Operate the existing stock management software (SBO)

*

Strip down stairlifts for reusable components

*

Assist in building reconditioned stairlifts

*

Organise the workshop floor

The Ideal Warehouse Operative Candidate

This is a practical, hands-on role: ideal for someone who understands tools, components and mechanical assemblies.

Ex-Stairlift Engineer - desirable

*

Experience working in an electrical/mechanical/construction/building merchant warehouse - essential

*

Confident working with engineering parts and assemblies - desirable

*

Organised, proactive and able to take ownership - essential

*

Comfortable with problem-solving and improving processes - essential
