Service Advisor - Farnborough
Basic Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
On-Target Earnings: £40,000+ | Full-Time | Permanent

We're currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join the aftersales team at a well-established dealership in Farnborough. With over 50 years of motor trade success, this dealership has built a reputation for excellence, both in customer service and employee satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing:
Acting as the first point of contact for all service-related enquiries, whether face-to-face, over the phone or online
Booking, scheduling, and managing customer service appointments efficiently and professionally
Providing clear and knowledgeable advice on recommended repairs, servicing, and maintenance
Keeping customers fully updated throughout the service process, managing expectations with clarity and care
Working closely with technicians and the parts team to ensure seamless handovers and service delivery
Managing service administration including job cards, invoices, and warranty claims accurately and promptly
Playing an active role in meeting department targets and maintaining customer satisfaction scores

About You:
We're looking for someone with the perfect mix of customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or in a customer-facing technical environment (motor trade preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities with great attention to detail
Confidence to upsell service plans, products, and additional work in a professional and ethical manner
A genuine passion for automotive service and a desire to deliver a 5-star customer experience
A full UK driving licence is desirable
