Our Client, one of the UK's leading specialist logistics companies is seeking a customer focused Transport administrator to join their team in Kingsbury.
Working 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, your main responsibilities would include (but not be limited to)
* ensuring that vehicles are routed and utilised effectively and that all customer requirements are met on time. This will involve completing the following administration duties around the following activities
* Vechicle routing
* Administration tasks to support the Manager
* Process development
* Damage/consignment investigations
* Compliance • Servicing and maintenance
* Holidays/absence reporting
You will form effective relationships with customers and sub-contractors as well as internal contacts including drivers, operations managers and traffic office colleagues. You will have a wide skill set including;
* Excellent organisational and administration skills
* Ability to plan ahead, prioritise and work to deadlines
* Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative#
* High levels of enthusiasm
* Team player
* Numerate and IT literate
* Punctual
Requirements
* Educated to minimum A level or equivalent with GCSE passes in Maths and English
* IT literate in MS Office, Advanced level MS
* Excel would be advantageous
