An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join this world leading manufacturer of Human Machine Interfaces, based in Newark.

The position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be part of a strong team of 4, developing prototypes to production, and using your experience and knowledge to shape the product. The ideal candidate will be conscientious, innovative and have a desire to become an expert in this field.

Requirements of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Newark:

Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling.
Proficient user of SolidWorks
Experience of Interfacing with customers
Experience with full design lifecycle including design reviews and the stage gate process or similar
Confident in the design, development and testing of electro-mechanical products
Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree
