Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | £45,000 + Package!

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated on-site team supporting the UK headquarters of a major international car manufacturer based in KT18 (Epsom area). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, supportive environment with excellent long-term benefits.
About the Role:
* Salary: £45,000 + additional earnings through a 1-in-2 call-out rota
* Hours: Monday to Friday (either 7am–4pm or 9am–6pm)
* Team: Join a close-knit team of 2 engineers, reporting to the Contract Manager
* Work Type: Primarily pre-planned mechanical maintenance, with some reactive tasks

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine mechanical maintenance and servicing of plant equipment, including fan coil units (FCUs), air handling units (AHUs), pumps, valves, and pipework
* Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical systems within a commercial building environment
* Assist with HVAC-related tasks and general building services maintenance
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety standards and company procedures
* Support the wider facilities team in maintaining high standards across the site
* Participate in a 1-in-2 call-out rota (additional payment provided)
What You’ll Need:
* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Building Services
* Proven experience working with FCUs, AHUs, and other HVAC plant equipment in a commercial setting
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills on mechanical systems
* A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Knowledge of compliance and safety standards for mechanical systems
