CNC Miller Programmer – Edgecam or Hypermill

Location: Wirral
Pay: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour (Day Shift)
Employment: Permanent, Full‑Time

A reputable precision engineering company on the Wirral is looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone confident with offline programming using Edgecam or Hypermill, who enjoys producing high‑quality components in a modern, well‑equipped machine shop.

The Role

* Offline programming using Edgecam or Hypermill

* Creating efficient CNC milling programs for precision components

* Setting and operating CNC milling machines when required

* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

* Selecting tooling, speeds and feeds for optimal machining performance

* Working to tight tolerances and carrying out in‑process quality checks

* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve processes

* Ensuring a safe, clean and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer

* Strong offline programming skills using Edgecam or Hypermill

* Confident with CNC milling set‑up and operation

* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T

* Background in a precision machining environment

* Quality‑focused, proactive and reliable
