Behaviour Support Worker - Bradford

Veritas Education are working with a partner secondary school in the Bradford area who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs, building positive relationships, and helping students re-engage with learning. The role involves working closely with the pastoral and SEN teams to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4
Delivering targeted interventions and 1:1 mentoring
Working alongside the pastoral and safeguarding teams
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Helping pupils regulate and positively engage with lessons
Providing support both in and out of the classroom

Who We're Looking For:

Experience working with young people with behavioural, SEMH, or pastoral needs
Confidence managing behaviour and building rapport quickly
A calm, resilient and supportive approach
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
