Are you an experienced and compassionate Care Worker looking for flexible work within residential care homes and nursing homes?
Workforce Personnel are recruiting Care Assistants / Support Workers to provide high-quality care across Bedfordshire and Central Bedfordshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals with elderly care needs, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities, helping to improve independence, dignity, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
*
Providing personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
*
Supporting medication administration in line with care plans
*
Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
*
Offering emotional support, companionship, and reassurance
*
Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
*
Maintaining accurate care records and daily notes
*
Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
*
Encouraging participation in social, recreational, and wellbeing activities
*
Working in line with CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and best practice
Essential Requirements
*
Minimum 6–12 months UK care experience (residential, nursing, or supported living)
*
Passion for supporting vulnerable adults
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Ability to work independently and within a care team
*
Good written and spoken English
*
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, earlies, and lates
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
*
Willingness to complete mandatory face-to-face training
*
Ability to provide satisfactory references
