SITE MANAGER - Commercial Groundworks projects - Gloucestershire region

Working for a very reputable local groundworks and civil engineering business that operates throughout the Gloucestershire region. This role is ideally for an Site Manager / Project Manager that is looking for long term local work along the M5 corridor.

Groundworks Project Packages include:

• Foundations
• Deep and Shallow Drainage
• Retaining Structures foundations
• Balancing Ponds
• Hard and Soft Landscaping
• Surfacing

Key Responsibilities
• Subcontractor procurement if required
• Planning, programming
• Day to day management and oversight
• Health and Safety management
• Drive the programme and works
• Oversee quality control, site documentation
• Deal confidently and effectively with subcontractors and any trades teams
• Manage inspections, snagging, and final handover
• Value Engineering if required

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager within commercial or industrial groundworks
• Strong understanding of various civil engineering methods
• Track record of success in the groundworks market
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
