A progressive and well-respected special school in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their inclusive team from September. The school provides high-quality education for students aged 11–18 with a range of complex needs including autism, communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. It is Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ with strong parental engagement and a therapeutic, child-centred ethos.

You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering a highly differentiated, person-centred curriculum that focuses on both academic learning and life skills. Small class sizes and high levels of classroom support allow you to provide the individual attention and care each student needs to succeed.

You will work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, all committed to ensuring positive outcomes for every learner. The school provides extensive CPD, including training in sensory integration, trauma-informed practice, and de-escalation techniques.
