Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice

Salary: £10.30 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Location: Wembley Stadium, Wembley, London,HA9 0WS (Primary)

Brent Municipal Contract, 4-7 Marsh Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA0 1ES (Secondary)

Programme Duration: 18 months

Your typical day starts and ends at Wembley Stadium, where you will support the Veolia team to maintain excellent customer service. As a street cleansing and waste collection service at Wembley Stadium, you will support a team in administrative tasks for day to day and on Stadium Event operations and sustainability projects.

Apprenticeship Programme;

During this programme, we'll help you to develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career. As well as this, you'll also gain the Technical (Knowledge) Certificate in Business Administration qualification.

With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices you'll receive full support and guidance from your network throughout.

By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.

What you'll be doing;

Liaising with external customers and responding to their emails and telephone calls

Diary management, organising meetings and taking minutes at meetings

Inputting data to contract databases, validating and checking data to ensure its accuracy

Preparing service reports

Validating charges on sales invoices, raising purchasing orders and receipting.

Preparing documents through editing, printing and binding.

Coordinate stakeholder communications and build positive relationships in sustainability projects

Preparing plans to help streamline and improve business operations

Stock control ordering and receipting goods for office / cleaning supplies (storing in correct areas)

Support the Account Manager in general ad hoc administration tasks

What we're looking for;

A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths & English or be willing and able to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English

IT skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to thrive in a busy office environment

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work without direct supervision

An interest in sustainability, circular economy and social value (desirable)

An understanding of legal compliances in workplace health and safety, confidentiality (desirable)
