About the Role
We are seeking a Health & Social Care Teacher to join a thriving 11–16 secondary school in Andover. This long-term position offers the opportunity to teach Health & Social Care at Key Stage 4, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will deliver engaging and informative lessons that support students in understanding key topics such as human development, health and wellbeing, social care services, and safeguarding. You will inspire students to explore future pathways in healthcare, early years, social work, and related professions.

Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 (BTEC or GCSE preferred)
Strong understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing within education
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Passionate about preparing students for careers in health and social care sectors
