KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant – Knowsley

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Knowsley, Liverpool to work on a long-term basis.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a setting that values every child’s potential.

The school is seeking a patient, nurturing individual who can provide consistent support, keep the child focused, and help meet their individual learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting daily tasks, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

* Provide general support to the class and on a one-to-one basis
* Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
* Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Essential Qualifications:

* Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting or similar sector with a passion working with children.
* Must be qualified in Peadeatric First Aid
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
* Experience and strong knowledge of Phonics
* Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
