SEND Teaching Assistant x 2 (Full Time)

£88.92 – £100 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The role 
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds (LS8) to start Sept 2025 on a Full-Time basis. We are recruiting for 2 SEND TA roles in the school. These role have the potential to become permanent following a successful supply period;

SEND Teaching Assistant - working 1-2-1 predominantly with a year 4 aged pupil with ASD. You will work as the child's 1-2-1 and support them through their learning. You must have experience in a similar role and have a strength in behaviour management and be able to adapt learning to suit needs.
SEND Teaching Assistant - working 1-2-1 predominantly with a Year 1 pupils with SEND needs. You will work as the child's 1-2-1 and support them through their learning. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications would be beneficial and experience of supporting the EHCP process would also be advantageous.

Requirements 
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Confident in using behaviour management strategies and providing emotional support

• Have experience working with pupils with SEND

• Have inclusivity at the forefront of your work

•  Patient, empathetic, and understanding, with a commitment to enhancing the learning experience for children with SEN
