This Job is being advertised by S&D Trade Recruitment who are operating as an employment business on behalf of our client.
Our client is one of the leading manufacturers in Europe and are currently looking to grow their team of CNC Operators at their state-of-the-art manufacturing depot in Corwen.
This is a role for someone who has previous experience in setting and running CNC machines.
You will be reporting directly to the Team Leader
The Role
* To use, operate and set up automated dual turret CNC machining centres in a high precision & high-volume production process. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures & process control systems.
* Safe systems of work.
* Auditing and Control of Consumables.
* Read drawings & measure parts to drawing tolerances.
* Use of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines & measuring instruments.
* Knowledge of CMM measuring & SPC would be an advantage
* Make adjustments & corrections based on measurement data.
* Set up & replace tooling.
* Complete routine machine maintenance activities.
* Loading & unloading parts from input & output conveyors.
* Use of supplemental equipment including engraving, flaw detection and hydraulic pressing.
* Contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working.
* Communicate well with colleagues on alternative shifts, conduct thorough handovers and highlight issues to site management team.

Knowledge of Siemens CNC & G code programming would be an advantage.
