One Week - Sunday Night to Wednesday Night  - 19:45 - 06:15

Second Week - Tuesday Night to Friday Night - 19:45 - 06:15

Are you a hands-on, proactive engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If you're a Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge with one of the biggest FMCG Manufacturers in Englnd and wanting to join the team and play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise machinery downtime and support production targets.

Ensure all machinery is maintained in excellent working order to maximise availability.

Work closely with the production team, prioritising tasks around the shift plan.

Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and test machinery before returning it to operation.

Source and identify correct spare parts and communicate needs effectively to the team.

Attend breakdowns within 2 minutes of call-out, fully equipped with appropriate tools.

Conduct performance testing and analysis of machinery on an ongoing basis.

Stay current with technological advancements and implement best practices.

Perform tasks involving L8 work, boiler controls, and cooling towers.

Interpret and work from system drawings and machinery manuals.

Follow health and safety regulations and approved codes of practice at all times.

Skills & Experience – Desirable

Hands-on engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting.

Computer literate and familiar with PPM systems (preferably Holistech).

Strong multi-skilled capabilities in both electrical and mechanical fault finding.

Awareness of the 17th Edition Electricity at Work Regulations and PUWER.

Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.

Understanding of productivity, efficiency, and quality in operations.

Qualifications

Essential: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
