Temporary Site Manager – College Campus Refurbishment Projects
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Site Manager to work on an ongoing basis at a busy college campus, overseeing refurbishment and upgrade works across existing buildings.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Site Manager with strong organisational skills and experience managing live environments where safety, communication, and minimal disruption are key.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of refurbishment and upgrade works across campus buildings
*
Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
*
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
*
Managing health & safety compliance, RAMS, and site inductions
*
Liaising with college staff and project stakeholders to minimise disruption
*
Monitoring progress, quality control, and reporting to the Project Manager
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
*
Experience working in live or occupied environments (education sector desirable)
*
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
*
SMSTS (or equivalent), CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
