Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Are you committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for every child? We are looking for an experienced and passionate Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our client school and take the lead on safeguarding and child protection.

About the Role

As our DSL, you will:

Be the main point of contact for all safeguarding concerns within the school.
Ensure compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education and all statutory guidance.
Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to embed a strong safeguarding culture.
Liaise with external agencies, parents, and staff to ensure the safety and well-being of pupils.
Deliver safeguarding training and updates to all staff members.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a safeguarding role within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
A proactive and organised approach to safeguarding responsibilities.
