About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers in a supportive school environment, as well as play a key role in the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils. This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference every day, supporting children with a range of needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), and helping them build confidence, access the curriculum, and develop vital life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
Providing targeted one-to-one and small group support
Assisting children with additional needs to feel included and valued
Helping manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
Promoting emotional well-being and healthy social interaction
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to staffYou will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where every child can flourish.
