System Developer

Exciting IT opportunity in the Health & Safety Sector (MCR Safety Europe)
MCR Safety Europe is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Due to our continued growth in the UK and Europe, we have immediate need for a System Developer to join us within new project development.
This completely new position is being created to ensure that our business is well positioned to support future expansion. It’s an exciting role that will focus on designing and delivering new IT projects involving a substantial amount of proof-of-concept work and experimenting with new technologies and initiatives. It complements our existing IT team with involvement in routine daily operations whilst allocating time towards new projects.
The ideal candidate with have a good working knowledge of network systems alongside programming for internal application covering C#, VFP, SQL and VB. It ideally fits a developer with a comprehensive understanding of business logic which will aid application development.
The position involves a significant level of engagement with external stakeholders as part of our ongoing integration projects, so excellent communication skills are essential.
