The Role – PMLD Teaching Assistant
We’re looking for a confident and caring PMLD Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 3–11 who have a range of complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), and autism. Your responsibilities will include providing 1:1 support, assisting with sensory-based learning, communication tools, and personal care. You will play a key role in helping pupils access a highly personalised curriculum and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.

The School – SEN Primary Setting
This well-established SEN primary school, based in Hounslow, caters for children aged 3–11 with complex learning needs. The school is split across two sites and supports around 190 pupils. Many students require specialist input, and the school provides a rich and structured learning environment to meet these needs. Rated Good by Ofsted in July 2023, the school is well-resourced, with a strong multi-disciplinary team and excellent transport links, including parking for staff.
