Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join a busy and thriving team at our client's furniture distribution centre in Ridgmont, Junction 13. This role involves heavy lifting and physical tasks, so candidates must be prepared for manual labour and long hours on their feet.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently and safely load/unload heavy furniture items.
Assist with the movement and storage of goods within the warehouse.
Ensure goods are organised, properly labelled, and stored in the correct locations.
Maintain a high standard of health and safety throughout the warehouse.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Essential Requirements:

Strong physical fitness due to the heavy lifting required.
Must have own transport to commute to the location.

Key Responsibilities:
· Safely handling and moving heavy furniture items.
· Assisting in the unloading, storing, and organizing of stock.
· Ensuring all products are correctly labelled and stored.
· Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
· Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
· Supporting the warehouse team to meet delivery targets.

Shift Pattern:
· Rotating shifts
Monday - Friday 6:00 - 15:00/13:00 - 22:00

Rates of Pay: £12.50 per hour.
