City Resource is currently recruiting for a well-established client in the Cambridgeshire area.
We are seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers (PAYE) to support a busy refrigerated distribution operation. Work is flexible with start times varying (you choose).
Day-to-Day Duties Include:
* Driving refrigerated units delivering temperature-controlled goods.
* Carrying out daily walk-around checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
* Securing and inspecting loads before departure.
* Making 1–3 drops per day, with minimal manual handling involved.
* Following site procedures and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
* Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience preferred
* Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than 6 penalty points
* Good communication and reliability
* Experience in fridge work is advantageous but not essential
What We Offer:
* £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
* Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
