To oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in running or managing a stores operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and smooth work flow throughout the goods in and goods out process.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming goods and materials.
Ensure all deliveries are checked against purchase orders and recorded accurately in the inventory system (Simpro)
Organise and store materials in the correct locations, maintaining clear labelling and stock rotation practices.
Pick, pack, label up and prepare outgoing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Ensure the returns process is followed correctly and promptly.
Complete regular cycle counts of stock.
Liaise with procurement.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for stock control, storage layout, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

Experience running or managing stores / warehouse operations, including both goods in and goods out processes.
Strong understanding of inventory control and materials management.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the stores function.
Good understanding of health and safety in a warehouse environment
