Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £52,000

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Panel Beater / Panel Technician with a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent to join their leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications in a state-of-the-art bodyshop, using modern tools and equipment.

Responsibilities for Panel Beater / Panel Technician

Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
Follow correct repair techniques and meet factory specifications and customer expectations
Remove damaged panels and parts, repairing or replacing as needed
Use welding equipment, hand tools and power tools to reshape and refit panels
Smooth out dents and small imperfections using fillers and sanders
Align body parts accurately and ensure proper fit
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and on schedule
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Stay up to date with the latest industry repair techniques
Skills and Qualifications for Panel Beater / Panel Technician

You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater and gained a technical qualification such as NVQ, VCQ, SVQ or ATA
You must have previous experience in a busy bodyshop and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team
You will have a strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques for both heavy and minor crash damage
A proactive mindset and the motivation to earn bonus hours are essential
