Electrical Engineer

Location: Liverpool Street, London
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team at a high-profile commercial building located in Liverpool Street, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable Monday–Friday role, excellent benefits, and a clear progression pathway to Supervisor level.

You will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all building services operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct PPM and reactive electrical maintenance

*

Electrical fault finding on commercial building systems

*

Maintenance and operation of AHUs and FCUs

*

General and Simtronic lighting systems

*

Emergency lighting testing

*

Fire alarm testing

*

Sprinkler testing

*

Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Complete maintenance reports and compliance documentation accurately

*

Liaise with the site management team and specialist subcontractors

Skills & Experience Required

*

Proven experience working as a Commercial Electrical Engineer

*

Strong electrical fault-finding capability

*

Experience maintaining AHU and FCU systems

*

Knowledge of lighting systems, including Simtronic (or similar)

*

Experience with emergency lighting, fire alarm, and sprinkler testing

*

Recognised Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

*

18th Edition (preferred)
