Metrologist
Responsibilities:
Programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision components.
Supporting project and production teams during product development and validation.
Maintaining accurate measurement logs and calibration records.
Assisting with equipment maintenance and ensuring traceability of tools.
Collaborating with engineers to improve inspection methods and accuracy.
Metrologist
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering, or relevant experience.
Interest in precision measurement, GD&T, and quality control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.
Enthusiastic about developing technical expertise in metrology.
Desirable:
Experience or knowledge of Renishaw Modus, CMM programming, or 3D scanning.
Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T principles.
Familiarity with data analysis or statistical process control (SPC).
