Accounts Senior

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

A modern and growing accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for a confident and experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to take the next step in their career within a supportive and ambitious firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with managers and senior colleagues, supporting a varied client portfolio and playing a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax and business services.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare accounts and tax returns for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders

Support client managers with more complex assignments

Get involved with audit assignments where required

Mentor and train junior team members

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client needs

What they’re looking for:

ACA or ACCA qualified

At least 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice

Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong IT skills and confidence using accounting software

A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
