About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Regulation 44 Visitor to join a trusted and well-established children's services provider. This is a remote-based role with regular travel across services to conduct 20 Regulation 44 visits per month in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained across multiple residential homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out independent monthly visits to children's homes in accordance with Regulation 44
Write clear, evidence-based reports for internal teams and Ofsted
Assess the quality of care, safeguarding practices, and general welfare of children
Engage with children, staff, and stakeholders during each visit
Keep up-to-date with current legislation and best practices in residential childcareRequirements
Proven experience within social care, ideally in children's residential settings
Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's rights, and care regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage travel across multiple sites
Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain oneWhat my client Offers
