Our client are a leading Builders Merchants providing a mixture of building supplies to both trade and retail customers.
An exiciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Branch Manager to join a busy and successful branch in the Essex Hertfordshire border. The branch has about 12 staff and does a mixture of walk in and direct to site business.
We are looking for a Sales focused candidate who has strong experience working within a Builders Merchant to take on the Assistant Branch Management position within the depot.
Due to the busy nature of the branch, previous builders merchant experience is essential. There is a strong operationally focused Branch Manager in place which is why we are looking for someone sales focused to support him. He is able to be a mentor so someone who has supervisory experience looking to take the step up into an Assistant Branch Management role would be suitable for this position.
