Your typical day will look like this:

Managing a children's home providing care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties ages 10-17

 Ensure the home is exceeding the minimum standards for children's homes and children's homes regulations

Ensuring Regulation 34 inspections are carried out and carrying out any recommendations from Ofsted / Regulation 34 inspections are acted upon

 Creating positive relationships with children and staff team

Meeting the needs of children and always safeguarding them  

This role will excite a person who:

Has a level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential childcare (or equivalent)  

 Excellent knowledge and understanding of the child home regulations, national minimum standards, every child matters and the children's act

 2 years experience relevant to the residential care of children in the last 5 years

 1-year experience in a management role within a care setting

 Has driving licence and car
