Credit Control Manager | £45,000 - £50,000 | Dartford, Kent (office based)
 
My client, an international distributor, are currently looking for a Credit Control Manager to join their busy finance team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on leadership role, taking full ownership of the credit management function and leading a small, dedicated team.
 
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a small team, overseeing all credit-related tasks including bank postings, adjustments, and manual invoicing
Analyse credit risk and approve credit lines for customers
Approve customer orders and manage the company’s credit insurance policy
Drive the use of collections software to achieve and exceed cash collection targets
Manage relationships with third-party debt collection agencies
Oversee credit management for both domestic and international trade 
Skills

Proven experience as a Credit Control Manager
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems (experience with Great Plains and/or NetSuite is a plus)
Understanding of both domestic and international trade finance
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Hands-on, proactive, and able to motivate a team through periods of change
