We are recruiting on behalf of a key client for a Freelance Site Manager to oversee civils and groundworks packages on a large residential scheme based in Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations for civils and groundworks.

*

Coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain quality control.

*

Liaise effectively with the main contractor and project team to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

*

Previous site management experience within civils and groundworks, ideally on residential developments.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the civils package.

Essential Certifications:

*

SMSTS

*

CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)

*

First Aid at Work

Additional Information:

*

Long-term freelance opportunity with a minimum contract length of 18 months.

Paid on a CIS basis
