Office Junior – Newly Created Role in a Growing Finance Team!

Salary: £20-25K
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Office-Based
Looking for your first step into finance? This brand-new role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in a supportive, expanding office team. You’ll provide vital administrative and finance support to the Accounts Manager, covering both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Handle incoming calls and assist customers with queries in a professional, friendly manner
* Reception support, including greeting visitors and preparing/franking outgoing post
* Manage inboxes by checking and responding to emails promptly
* Review purchase statements and follow up on missing invoices when needed
* Set up new customer accounts and ensure credit checks are completed accurately
* Maintain and update customer account details to keep records current
* Provide general administrative support to keep the office running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
* A confident, hardworking individual with great communication skills
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) preferred, with the ability to learn accountancy systems
* Office admin experience is a bonus but not essential as full training will be provided
