A well-respected and forward-thinking two-form entry primary school in Derbyshire is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join their vibrant Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. The Role:

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons that deepen pupils’ knowledge and understanding

*

Build on previous KS2 learning to extend reasoning and critical thinking

*

Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and tailor support

*

Foster a classroom culture of respect, confidence, and motivation

*

Collaborate with your year group partner and contribute to the wider school team

*

Maintain regular communication with families to support pupil outcomes

What We're Looking For:

*

QTS with experience teaching in KS2, preferably in Year 4

*

Sound understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, including English, maths, and topic work

*

Excellent subject knowledge and classroom organisation

*

A reflective and inclusive teaching style with high expectations
