Senior Chemical Process Safety Engineer - Wigan

Do you have experience working within a production environment? Are you looking for a long-term role with clear paths for progression? Then this chemical company looking to add a Senior Chemical Process Safety Engineer to the team is looking for you!

Your duties as a Senior Chemical Process Safety Engineer include but are not limited to the following:

Develop the safety engineering philosophy, designing HSE plans, safety and equipment specifications.
Lead process safety assessments such as HAZOPs, SIL and HAZID studies.
Generating applicable safety reports.
Classifying hazardous areas according to industry codes and guidelines.
Providing technical support to projects and sites as needed.

Requirements:

Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience leading safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA)
Demonstrable knowledge of COMAH, DSEAR and the latest risk assessment techniques
