The Role: Shift Supervisor – Environmental Waste Sector
Location: London, Staines
Salary: £45k-£50k + benefits (5 day working pattern - day and night shifts available)
The Company
Our client, in the environmental sector, has an opportunity to join them at their recycling processing site as a Shift Supervisor in their production team. This is an opportunity to work in a strong and stable industry sector providing consistency, longevity and progression.
The Role of a Shift Supervisor
As Shift Supervisor you will supervise, motivate and co-ordinate the operational shift activities at our client’s recycling processing plant.
*You will ensure the shift is an efficient, safe and a secure operation
* You will work with our Production Manager to ensure the shift produces the quality of material required.
*Supervise through team rotation occassional weekend activies.
* As Shift Supervisor you will work with our maintenance team who will support the shift.
*You will co-ordinate with traffic and product coming onto site to ensure production constant and efficient.
• You will ensure that there is a positive Health & Safety culture.
The Successful Shift Supervisor
• The ideal Shift Supervisor will have experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, recycling or waste facilities would be advantageous but not essential.
• The ideal candidate will have experience of managing or supervising small to medium teams.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop a positive team working environment.
• Previous experience of working within Health & Safety legislation is required and a positive approach to all health and safety matters is a necessity.
• Experience of working within and meeting SLA and KPI requirements
• The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do personality and attitude.
