We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Vacuum Excavator Driver/Operator to support no-dig repair and maintenance works across multiple sites. This standalone role involves driving vacuum trucks, operating excavation equipment, protecting underground utilities, and maintaining machinery to a high safety standard.

Main Responsibilities:

Operate vacuum excavation trucks and equipment safely

*

Drive to/from sites in line with transport regulations

*

Read and interpret drawings, plans, and utility markings

*

Protect underground utilities during excavation

*

Complete routine vehicle/equipment checks and maintenance

*

Fill out job reports, safety checklists, and paperwork

*

Communicate with supervisors, ground crews, and clients

*

Assist with site setup and cleanup as required

*

Adhere to company and H&S procedures at all times

Requirements:

*

Experience as an HGV & vacuum excavation operator

*

HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence required

*

CPCS Suction Excavator and/or EUSR beneficial

*

Good understanding of driving regulations & safety standards

*

Ability to work independently and manage workloads

*

Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

*

Mechanical knowledge preferred for minor troubleshooting

*

Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding environments
