Metalwork Workshop Manager required!

Workshop Manager wanted for a busy metalwork company in West London. Specialising in Structural Steel and Architectural Metalwork our client excels in the fabrication and installation of items such as balustrades, staircases, Walkways and General Metal and Steelwork. The position will suit someone self-organised and motivated who has 5+ years’ experience managing a workshop with £2.5-£3M turnover.

As a workshop manager you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities throughout the workshop. This includes:

* Plan and organise fabrication of all projects from initial enquiry until delivery.

* Work to budgets, agreed schedules, and resources- allocating resources and managing accordingly.

* Liaise with Project Managers, Clients, Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and timely delivery.

* Procure materials and consumables and oversee others, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Prepare and maintain documentation.

* Responsible for UKCA/ CE Marking and other accreditation compliance.

* Salary £55,000 - £60,000
